Crawford Furniture Moves into Ch. 7, plans public sale

Crawford Furniture intends to liquidate its remaining assets next month. The Dunkirk-Fredonia Observer reports that the Jamestown company was unable to successfully reorganize under the Chapter 11 bankruptcy procedure.

It has now moved to Chapter 7. A public sale of finished goods is scheduled from April 12 to April 19, followed by auctions of remaining inventory on April 21 and 24.
