Wright Global Graphics Wins PICA Award

By Home Furnishings Business in Special Events on March 19, 2012 Wright of Thomasville division Wright Global Graphics won "Best of Category" in Digital Printing: Tags & Labels at the Printing Industry of the Carolinas Awards.

Wright received the award March 3 during the 2011 PICA Awards Banquet in Concord, N.C. The PICA Awards is one of the largest printing competitions in the nation.

In addition to winning the Best of Category award, Wright also won four Special Judges awards for digital printing excellence in the Tags and Labels group. Judging criteria included registration, crossovers, clarity and neatness, sharpness of halftones and line drawings, richness and tonal qualities of color, paper and ink selection, ink coverage, difficulty of printing, effective contrast or softness, finishing, bindery and overall visual impact.
