Outdoor furnishings supplier Brown Jordan is working to create an ecommerce Web site within the next three months.
The company has partnered with MarketLive to build the site with its Jump Start program.
"We are thrilled to bring our luxury brand to consumers around the globe via the Internet, and we feel that MarketLive's technology offers the most innovative and easy-to-use platform in order to do so," said Bill Snow, chief information officer for Brown Jordan. "We are eager to expand our business reach through online distribution, and it is positioned to create synergies with our existing sales channels including the retail, designer and contract markets."
Brown Jordan's new Web site will bring its brand to life through imagery and in-depth product information while allowing users to select products, finishes and fabrics. Consumers, trade professionals, retailers and specifiers will all be able to use the Web site efficiently for information gathering, shopping, creating a project, and ultimately buying through a universal solution.
"We are very thrilled to partner with such an iconic luxury brand," said Mark Pierce, CEO of MarketLive. "This represents yet another step in Brown Jordan's leadership of the leisure furnishings industry. We look forward to launching and maintaining their world-class ecommerce Web site."
