HFIA, TD Retail Team for Private Label Credit

By Home Furnishings Business in Customer Service on February 27, 2012

The Home Furnishings Independents Association has selected TD Retail Card Services' Renovate Card private label credit program.

Under the agreement, the Mahwah, N.J-based business unit of TD Bank NA, will offer HFIA's 1,110 retailer members nationwide a full range of services, custom financing options and other special benefits associated with the Renovate Card.

Created specifically for the home furnishings sector, the Renovate Card is a revolving private label consumer credit card that can be used for purchases of products or services at any merchant participating in the program. Merchants opening the individual consumer's account can have their store's name embossed on the card.

Retailers participating in the program can offer their customers a variety of special financing options, including six no-interest programs, as well as low-APR programs.

"Consumer financing is critically important for retailers to have available for their customers," said HFIA President Mary Frye. "With private label credit cards in customers' hands, more sales are made. HFIA was looking for an effective provider and is pleased to have found TD Retail Card Services. We believe the rates, plans, special promotions, and service provided by TD will prove to be invaluable to HFIA members. No minimum volume requirements and a program that is accessible to members across the country make the Renovate program from TD a smart choice."

Dallas-based HFIA offers independent home furnishings dealers business tools and solutions to help them operate more efficiently and, in return, more profitably.
