Adams to Lead Anatomic Global

By Home Furnishings Business in Executive Changes on January 10, 2012

Foam producer FXI has appointed Diane Adams to lead the company's new consumer products division, including mattress manufacturer Anatomic Global.

dams, who has more than 30-years experience in building consumer brands, will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of FXI€™s consumer strategy across all industry segments, including bedding and sleep products, as well as building and cleaning products.

She joins FXI, Media, Pa., from Schiller Grounds Care, where she was vice president of sales, marketing, and customer operations. During her time with Schiller, Adams is credited with creating and implementing a channel strategy to achieve the double-digit growth of brands such as Bob-Cat, Mantis and Little Wonder. Prior to this, she was senior vice president of global sales and marketing for K'NEX Brands, and director of global licensing for Crayola.

At FXI, Adams' responsibilities include mattress manufacturer Anatomic Global, which became part of the FXI family last year and whose former CEO David Farley has left the company to pursue other opportunities.

"I would like to thank David for his many valuable contributions and wish him all the best," said FXI President and CEO John Cowles. "Diane is a respected industry veteran who will have a dynamic impact on our brands and drive growth across our entire suite of consumer products, including gutter filtration, cleaning and finished bedding products. Our company has always been associated with quality manufacturing, and we see this as an opportunity for growth in 2012."

"Foam has the potential to revolutionize the consumer product market," said Adams. "I've spent my entire career in sales and marketing and I understand that in order to succeed you need passion, work ethic and a commitment to research and development. I've found these qualities at FXI and look forward to growing the business while continuing to explore the application of foam into new arenas."

The company will be exhibiting during the Jan. 30-Feb. 3 Las Vegas Furniture Market in a newly combined FXI/Anatomic Global showroom in WMC-C1588.
