Gorman's, Stressless Create Promotion to Help The Arc

Furniture retailer Gorman's Home Furnishings and Interior Design and Stressless are partnering to donate to the Famington Hills, Mich.-area ARC.

Under the promotion, Gorman's will offer $200 off a Stressless recliner and $400 off a Stressless Royal recliner with a minimum $50 consumer donation to The Arc. The promotion runs from Nov. 25 through Jan. 16.

The Arc is the world's largest community-based organization of and for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The nonprofit organization exists to ensure citizens with disabilities are valued, and that they and their families can participate fully in, and contribute to, the life of the community.

"By donating to The Arc, you can help comfort someone in a way that is much more meaningful," said Tom Lias, president of Gorman's. "The community's support of The Arc, and other organizations like it, continues to be of the utmost importance to us at Gorman's and we are committed to helping to create a LIFELINE OF HOPE for the disabled and their families."
