Olender Furniture Closing after 109 Years

After 109 years of business, Olender Furniture and Mattress is going out of business. It's a bittersweet ending for owner Richard Olender who said its just not possible to keep up with the competition in this economy. His store is one of the many small businesses struggling to survive against big businesses. Olender said while there are good things happening in the area, he doesn't want to play the waiting game for the economy to turn around.
