Italia Furniture Launches Natuzzi Italia Gallery

Atlanta-based Italia Furniture celebrated the grand opening of Georgia's first Natuzzi Italia showroom with a gala to benefit the Museum of Design Atlanta.

The gala grand opening this past weekend inside the brand-new, 26,000-square-foot Italia Furniture showroom in Norcross, dubbed "Salone Italia," featured a designer showcase, displays of Italian luxury automobiles and motorcycles, high-tech video and sound installations, live entertainment, along with one of the country's most comprehensive collections of leather furniture crafted entirely in Italy.

Brad Cates, senior vice president, Natuzzi Americas, said Italia Furniture is unique in the Southeast marketplace: "Showcasing all three Natuzzi Group brands--Natuzzi Italia, Italsofa and Natuzzi Editions--Italia Furniture provides Atlanta metro shoppers with the area's premiere offering of authentic, high-quality, made-in-Italy furnishings and cutting-edge designs. Throughout the evening, guests were feted with Italian cuisine and cocktails by Ketel One and Peroni Italy while they explored custom-designed Natuzzi Group and ALF vignettes created by the area's leading interior designers. Celebrity designers included Atlanta's own Michael Habachy, Raymond Goins, Beth Webb, HGT'€™s Brian Patrick Flynn, and Laura Walker, who regularly appears on TBS' "Movie and a Makeover" series. Miami- and Paris-based designer Tui Pranich also took part in the grand opening celebration.

"We are thrilled to have such a stellar showing from Atlanta's creative community here to support this special event for such a worthy cause," said Sunny Kokol, sales manager at Italia Furniture, in welcoming the night's attendees. 
 
Italia Furniture is the third Natuzzi Italia boutique in the United States. The original Natuzzi Italia flagship store is located in the SoHo neighborhood of Manhattan.
