Jensen-Lewis Expands in NYC

By Home Furnishings Business in Store Openings on September 19, 2011

Contemporary furniture and home furnishings retailer Jensen-Lewis has expanded its brand to a new location in Manhattan's Upper East side.

The 11,000-square-foot showroom at 969 3rd Ave. at 58th Street opened Saturday and features a new Calligaris Shop as well as galleries for brands such as American Leather, BDI, Della Robbia, Copeland Furniture and Stressless by Ekornes. The store is situated in the heart of New York€™s burgeoning Design District, one block South of Bloomingdale's and next to the D&D Building.

All merchandise on display is in stock as shown. Jensen-Lewis, which also has a location in Chelsea, also offers nationwide white-glove delivery for those with homes outside the Tri-State area.

"Our goal is to sell the best that Contemporary has to offer while still catering to space and budget conscious New Yorkers," said Jim Ehrenthal, vice president of Jensen-Lewis. "Most furniture isn't designed for New York apartments with real spacial living constraints. Our furniture is catered specifically to this market where efficiency does matter."

The store will have accredited interior designers on staff to assist residential consumers and businesses alike.
