Emerald Deploys SAP Business One Application

Furniture and bedding vendor Emerald Home Furnishings has teamed with Coastal Range Systems for implementation of SAP Business One.

In order to keep up growth, Emerald needed to incorporate a business management solution that could help it streamline current processes with a particular focus on manufacturing and inventory management, purchasing, accounting and finance, shipping, customer relationship management and e-commerce.

"After several months of researching the top eight ERP software solutions available with distribution and manufacturing functionality, Emerald's ERP team chose SAP Business One as the platform that most closely filled all our operational business requirements," said Josh Henkel, IT manager and ERP project manager for Emerald. "We felt very comfortable with the representation from Coastal Range and look forward to a successful implementation and long-term relationship with both Coastal and SAP."

In addition to manufacturing mattresses, Emerald Home Furnishings is a full-line supplier to the furniture retailers of dining room furniture, bedroom suites, fabric and leather upholstery, tables and chairs, catering to furniture retailers throughout the Unites States and other countries. It currently has showrooms in Tacoma, Wash.; Las Vegas; and High Point, N.C., as well as five factory warehouse facilities located in Shanghai, China.
