Belgrad to Consult with LPK International

By Home Furnishings Business in Executive Changes on September 8, 2011 Furniture industry veteran Don Belgrad has joined LPK International as a consultant in the company's business development team.

Belgrad recently retired from upholstery and case goods supplier Schnadig International.

"We are delighted that Don has an interest in working with our team to help us fine tune our strategy and organization," said Peter Kroll, president of LPK International. "The changes in our industry, at both the wholesale and retail levels, are dramatic and LPK International will be better prepared to serve the retail community. Don's availability and interest in working with us couldn't be more timely."

In his position, Belgrad will work closely with Kimberly Kroll, executive vice president, and Annie Balonick, vice president of market development, to build customer accounts with Top 100 furniture retailers and to shore up LPK's ability to design exclusive product.

In addition, he will consult with Andrew Wolfberg, vice president of global sourcing, on the company's expansion of sourcing and quality control with its Asian organization. Belgrad will also assist Josh Wesolowski, director of design, with product design.

"I am very excited about working with a smart, energetic team of young people who are eager to and capable of making the necessary changes to succeed in our highly competitive industry," Belgrad said.
