Pierre Deux Files Bankruptcy, Plans To Pay Creditors

As previously reported on Patch, Pierre Deux has closed its doors in Millburn and its 22 other US stores, and has now made provisions for employees owed money and customers who paid deposits towards orders. The home furnishings and specialty retailer, owned by Secaucus-based Arts des Provinces de France Inc, held assets of $12.1 million and debts of almost $54 million.
