Comfort Furniture Clients Look for Way Out

For a decade, interior designer Debbe Daley has had a strong working relationship with Comfort Furniture, even traveling to North Carolina's famed High Point Market on buying trips with President Errol Rick. Daley said she brought $100,000 annually in business to Comfort Furniture over the last 10 years and had, until recently, been pleased with the results. Today she is angry. Eight clients are out $12,000 in deposits made on furniture orders placed March 1, but never delivered by Comfort Furniture. The store has since filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy, claiming more than $1.7 million in liabilities
