Therapedic International's longtime Australian licensee Slumbercare Bedding has expanded its brand territory to include the state of South Australia.
Slumbercare, which had served the state of Victoria and the southern portion of New South Wales, now includes the major Australian cities of Melbourne and Adelaide after the expansion.
Slumbercare joined Princeton, N.J.-based Therapedic International's licensee network in 1998 and has grown the local business for the brand steadily over the past 13 years.
"Slumbercare is our strongest licensee on the continent and we are looking forward to them duplicating that success in other parts of the country," said Therapedic International President Gerry Borreggine. "Australia is key market for us and this expansion will help maximize the potential of our brand there."
"We are privileged to take on the Therapedic International license for South Australia and operate with the same philosophy and strategies that have brought Victoria success with the brand for the past 13 years," said Slumbercare Bedding Managing Director Con Apostolidis.
Therapedic currently has licensees on six continents in locations including: Canada, Mexico, Guatemala, Trinidad, Jamaica, Ecuador, Ireland, Korea, Malaysia, Dubai, Israel, Jordan, Morocco, New Zealand and Australia.
Therapedic International has more than 50 licensees manufacturing products under the Therapedic brand throughout the world.
