At a time when many companies in the furniture industry have marked their last day making products in America, Davis Furniture Industries Inc. enters its fourth generation as a manufacturer still pumping out local paychecks.
The office furniture company, founded the year before the end of World War II, employs 150 workers involved in the design, production and sale of chairs, conference tables and other furnishings from Davis Furnitures S. College Drive corporate campus.
