FurnitureDealer.Net Takes over Home Line Web Partner Program

By Home Furnishings Business in Acquisition on April 19, 2011

Internet marketing services provider FurnitureDealer.net has acquired the Web site assets of Home Line Furniture's Web partner program.

"We are very excited to add these partnerships to our network of 800-plus Web sites," said Any Bernstein, president and founder of Minneapolis-based FurnitureDealer.net. "All of these Web Partners can rest assured that their Web sites will be maintained with the same level of professionalism, passion and commitment we have become known for that past 16 years. We have some very exciting improvements that we plan to offer in the next 60 days which will help our partners do a lot more business from their Web site."

In 2009, Home Line Furniture contracted with FurnitureDealer.net to design and manage a Web site program that Home Line could offer its retailers, showcasing Home Line product content, as well as other brands. The program launched in April 2010 and generated tens of thousands of furniture content page views, with consumer's spending an average of more than minutes of content
browsing per Web-partner site, according to FurnitureDealer.net.

"We will be contacting each and every Home Line Web Partner to introduce ourselves and our company's mission and vision," said Amy Voelker, vice president of merchandising relations. "We want all of Home Line's customers to rest assured that we are their 'partner,' and their Web sites will all be maintained free of charge through the end of 2011. By extending all of these contracts, we want our partners to become familiar and comfortable with our management of their Web presence."
