New Lighting Licensee for Biltmore

By Home Furnishings Business in licensing on March 16, 2011

Biltmore For Your Home and Dimond Fine Lighting have signed a license agreement to expand the brand's portable lighting offerings.

Dimond, the newest member of the ELK Lighting family, brings more than 25 years of experience to Biltmore's newest line. The collection recreates the classic style felt throughout Biltmore House, coupled with the uncompromising detail and impressive fashion-forward style that is coveted by today's designers.

"Dimond Fine Lighting is known for its emerging fashion and industry-leading trends," said Tim Rosebrock, vice president and general manager of Biltmore's Licensed Products Division. "Our partnership with Dimond enables us to bring quality lighting from a brand at the forefront of the industry to home decor retailers and professionals across the nation."

Dimond Lighting will unveil its new collection for Biltmore during the April 2-7 Spring 2011 High Point Furniture Market. Initial introductions include 10 to 15 portable lighting products that reflect the well-known style and broad appeal of the current Biltmore line. Dimond Fine Lighting products will be shown in the ELK Lighting showroom at this spring's High Point Market. The ELK showroom is located in the International Home Furnishings Center, space H223.

The lighting program will continue to be expanded over time with a variety of additional styles.

The new products will be available at fine lighting showrooms and retailers throughout North America.

"Creating this new co-branded product with Biltmore is a great opportunity," said Carre McConnon, business development specialist of the Dimond Lighting Division. "Our award-winning team of designers ensures that each product is created at the highest level of quality and stays true to Biltmore's vision of classic designs and fine country living."
