Wright of Thomasville Unveils Online Tool

Home furnishings marketing services vendor Wright of Thomsville has a new on-line  process to allow its designers to work in real time with customers worldwide.

"Design Wright Now" is a new proprietary process the company says can cut as much as two weeks out of the design process, up to a 50 percent increase in efficiency. Using a variety of software tools, Wright's team of designers and account executives can arrange on-line strategy and design sessions with their clients and make immediate changes to the designs in real time during the session.

"In the 'old' days, you could send an e-mail with a design as an attachment," said Wright President and CEO Greg Wright. "The client might have trouble opening the document and it could take them a day or two to review it. Our customers would then communicate their revisions, and the project would go back into the design department to make those revisions. Before you know it, three weeks have passed and no firm decisions were made.

"With Design Wright Now, there is no need to lose that valuable time. This process allows us to set a meeting, log on and begin working collaboratively with our clients and their marketing teams. The ability to immediately review design revisions and get commitment from the marketing team dramatically reduces the turnaround time of a complicated process. In this day and age, time is a precious commodity."

Wright estimated that a typical design project that might have taken a month to complete can be expedited by as much as two weeks by utilizing €œDesign Wright Now.€ This not only gets the job completed faster, but usually adds a cost savings benefit as well.

Kingsdown, International Bedding and Comfort Solutions are a few early adopters of the new process.
