Paul Brayton Creates New Company

By Home Furnishings Business in on March 7, 2011 Paul Brayton, founder of Brayton International, has started a new company that will supply high-end European and U.S. furniture designs for contract and hospitality arenas.

The new company, Paul Brayton Designs Furniture expects to provide 100 jobs within the first year of operation. The furniture will be manufactured exclusively in the High Point area, utilizing eco-friendly processes.

Brayton has a lengthy 40-year career in the business. Brayton International was later purchased by Steelcase and Brayton was named president and CEO of Steelcase Design Partnership in 1991 where he oversaw the companies Steelcase had purchased. After the acquisition, Brayton International was renamed Coalesse.

Paul Brayton Designs Furniture Collection will make its debut at NeoCon in Chicago, June 13-15.
