Glideaway Has New High Point Showroom

Specialty sleep vendor Glideaway Sleep Products will open a new showroom in the International Home Furnishings Center at High Point Furniture Market, April 2-7.

The space, IHFC M-410, is located in a high-traffic bedding area and will provide the company with more visibility.

"Glideaway's sales and retail presence is growing, and we recognize that High Point is an especially important show for our Central and East Coast customers," said Ron Fredman, executive vice president of sales for Glideaway, St. Louis. "Our new space has a hallway of windows which will enhance our visibility and is located right next to the Specialty Sleep Association showroom. The decision to move came from wanting to be more accessible to our customers."

In an effort to make the navigation of Market easier for attendees, the organizers of High Point Market have dedicated space on the IHFC's fourth and fifth floors second-tier bedding manufacturers.

"Smart retailers and buyers need to maximize their time while at market," Fredman said. "The new showroom also accommodates our expanded mattress, steel and accessory product lines in a more fluid, open layout presentation."

At High Point Glideaway will introduce the Hotelier, a heavy duty all-steel bed frame that adjusts to fit full, queen, king and California-king size bedding; the Space Saver bed frame, which offers a full 14 inches of under-the-bed storage space from floor to frame; and two metal youth beds designed for use with the popular and colorful sleepharmony Jubilee mattress.
