Phillips Collection Teams with Karla d'Lara

By Home Furnishings Business in Accessories on January 14, 2011 The Phillips Collection has partnered with Mexican artist Karla d'Lara for a collection of sculptures, tables and accessories.

The collection will be shown at the upcoming Las Vegas Market.

d'Lara began studiying photography as a teenager during summer trips, and it became her passion. After taking advanced courses and accumulating experience, d'Lara traveled throughout Europe, Asia and the Americas snapping images of different cultures.

The artist pulls her ideas together with the help of craftsmen in workshops in Tonala, Jalisco, well-known for its artists and authors.
