Modani Modern Sets Official L.A.-Area Opening

Contemporary furniture retailer Modani Modern Furniture is set to cut the ribbon on a Sunset Boulevard furniture store in West Hollywood, Calif.

Since an earlier soft opening, the store has attracted celebrities including supermodel Kimora Lee Simmons who, with her daughter Aoki Lee, hosted a fashion show for girls at Make-A-Wish Foundation inside the new showroom.

From one small showroom and website, Modani Furniture has landed high-end clients such as the Trump Towers and others.

"We are so excited about the launch of the Los Angeles location and look forward to celebrating in style come the New Year," said Yonel Fellous, co-owner. "This is only the beginning of a year of growth as Modani continues to expand."

Modani launched a Miami showroom in 2007 before expanding to New York and Los Angeles, with new stores planned for Chicago, Houston and other major cities.

Pulling from over 50 years of modern design, including concepts by young artists, Modani Furniture brings the trendiest items to homes in celebrity-style but with affordable, modern designs such as Minimalist, Baroque, Zen, contemporary and more.
