Home furnishings retailer H.D. Buttercup is holding a grand opening in San Francisco, the San Francisco Chronicle reported Sunday.
Culver City-based H.D. Buttercup had held a soft opening a few weeks ago. All merchandise is on sale through Jan. 17 for the grand opening.
"I love great cities, and San Francisco was always the first choice when discussing the expansion of H.D. Buttercup," Owner and CEO Evan Cole said in the report. "The spirit of San Francisco is creative, intelligent and individual. H.D. Buttercup embodies that spirit."
Meandering through the store, some observant visitors may pick up on a few nods to the local scene: The motif painted on a concrete expanse in the back was inspired by the Broadway Tunnel, and a wall display incorporates burlap coffee sacks from Four Barrel.
The 35,000-square-foot store carries furniture, accessories and lighting in a variety of styles.
