Delta Furniture Co. Plans Mississippi Expansion

By Home Furnishings Business in Upholstery on November 24, 2010 Pontotoc, Miss.-based upholstery producer Delta Furniture Co. plans to expand its operations and create close to 50 new jobs, according to the Picayune Item.

The company plans to move from its current 100,000-square-foot factory to a 220,000-square-foot building owned by the city of Pontotoc. The company said it will invest more than $590,000 over the next three years.

The Mississippi Development Authority provided funding for public building improvements. The City of Pontotoc also provided funding for public infrastructure improvements.
