Bargains Galore Opening in Danville, Va.

Bargains Galore Furniture Outlet, Martinsville., Va., will open a location in a former Goody's store in Danville, Va., GoDanRiver.com reported Sunday.

The store will sell closeouts and market samples at heavy discounts. A $300,000 inventory includes Bassett and American brands. The 24,000-square-foot store has a three-month lease, but Owner John Martin hopes to make a permanent go of the venture.

"I'm thinking it's going to be good," he said in the report. "As long as we're doing business, I feel like we'll be there; as long as we get support from the community."

Martin had opened another Bargains Galore Furniture Outlet store in the former Goody's in nearby Martinsville a year ago.
