Iron furnishings manufacturer Stone County Ironworks is returning to High Point Furniture Market.
SCI has been selected to exhibit in the SALON "juried" section of Suites at Market Square.
"We will show several new designs and also demonstrate the art of blacksmithing in a rustic Kiosk, which is fashioned after an old village smithy shop, located near the entrance to the Suites at Market Square," said Corky Baker, president of Stone County Ironworks.
All week during the High Point Market a Stone County Ironworks' master blacksmith will ring the anvil and show how beautiful hand-forged product is made in the hills of the Ozark Mountains.
According to Corky, "The demonstration is sure to be interesting and informative, and always draws a crowd, and it will be a wonderful reminder of a time when life was simple and the pace was a little slower," Baker said. "Those who stop by might be fortunate enough to get a hand-forged reminder of how things used to be ... and how they still are, at America's Blacksmith Shop."
Stone County Ironworks has more than 40,000 different product possibilities in its published portfolio , and the company operates a thriving custom business where one-of-a-kind lighting, seating, tables, home décor and fireplace items are designed and made for clients across North America.
SALON is an exclusive "juried" selection of the best style and design-driven home furnishings in the marketplace. Selection requires the approval of a panel of experts including retailers, designers, and national style editors. Of the hundreds of companies exhibiting at High Point, Stone County Ironworks is one of 40 or so companies selected for SALON, and will highlight several new looks that are receiving high marks for design, trend and innovation.
