Matsuoka, Chrystal Designer Gormley Debut Collection

Luxury furniture vendor Matsuoka International will debut a line of crystal furniture designed by glass sculptor Stephen Gormley at October High Point Market.

Furniture and Art by Stephen Gormley for Matsuoka, will include custom made to order consoles, cocktail, occasional and dining tables in any geometric shape and size needed to fit the customer's desired space. Matsuoka's new High Point showroom is IHFC-Interhall 411.

Master sculptor Stephen Gormley has been fashioning fine art for more than 30 years. Crystal sculptures from his studio in Thailand appear in the Casino Deauville and Paris Urban Gallery in France; the Chutney Mary Restaurant in London; Doral Spa in Florida; Peninsula Hotels in Hong Kong, Singapore and Bangkok; Ritz Carlton, Regent, Grand Hyatt and Hyatt Regency Hotels; Diamond Resort in Maui; Beverly Hills Nikko; Lexington Hotel in New York and many other hotels, restaurants, resorts, spas and luxury cruise lines around the world. His commissions often are multi-ton behemoths of grand scale and monumental proportions, festooned with flourishes of magnificent fountains and spectacular lighting. Gormley's inspirations also include masterpieces of smaller scale that ornament lobbies, offices and homes as cherished and valuable collectibles as well.
