Furniture Deliverymen Taken Hostage

A customer dissatisfied with a furniture delivery took two deliverymen hostage at gunpoint, the Chattanoogan reported Sunday.

Thomas Gunn, 76, faces charges of aggravated assault, kidnapping and carrying an unlawful weapon.

The victims were delivering an order on contract with Select Comfort to Gunn when Gunn became angry over a delivery error. He had the men drive him to the store at gun point so he could speak with the manager.

Police arrested Gunn before he entered the mall where the store was located.
