Kane's Furniture, Savon Furniture Roll Out GE Credit Program

Kane's Furniture has selected GE Money as consumer financing partner for its Kane's and Savon Furniture stores.

Kane's, Tampa, Fla., debuted its new Kane's Furniture Card and Savon Furniture Card on Wednesday. With the new financing program, customers at all 17 Kane's and Savon stores can apply for credit and get fast responses, often within seconds.

"We think our customers will love our new financing program," said Daniel Klein, executive vice president for Kane's Furniture. "GE Money's customer service is outstanding. The credit application process is fast and you get credit decisions back right away. Plus, we like the resources available through their Business Center Web site."

The Business Center is GE Money's password protected Web site that provides a suite of marketing tools to their retail partners. By leveraging the Business Center Kane's and Savon stores can track credit sales by location, provide sales training and more.

Kane's Furniture operates 17 current Kane's and Savon store locations comprising more than one million square feet of furniture retail space in eight major Central Florida markets, including Tampa, St. Petersburg, Sarasota, Port Charlotte, Ocala, Melbourne, Ft. Myers and Orlando.
