Stickley Acquires New Retail Showroom

By Home Furnishings Business in Furniture Retailing on August 27, 2010 L. & J.G. Stickley & Co. has purchased a 104,000-square-foot retail showroom and warehouse in North Syracuse, N.Y., a former Goldberg's Furniture location.

The deal was handled by Pyramid Brokerage Co. Stickley plans to use the location for a retail showroom.

"Stickley was a natural fit for this facility," said Michael Kalet, director of sales for Pyramid Brokerage Co. "They had been in the market looking for a location for a retail showroom, and the former Goldberg's facility, a mainstay in the community for over 75 years, was a perfect location for Stickley."

Stickley Furniture anticipates a fall opening of the store once construction and renovations have been completed.
