Ethan Allen Furniture Plant Fire

A fire damaged an Ethan Allen furniture plant in Orleans, Vt., the Burlington Free Press reported Wednesday.

A dust collection unit burst into flames early Wednesday afternoon, but the fire was contained within an hour. Fire crews stayed on the scene to fight hot spots until about 8:10 p.m.

No cause has been determined for the fire, which caused no injuries. The maintenance chief at the Ethan Allen plant told firefighters most of the plant should reopen on Thursday.
