Christopher Guy to Open High Point Showroom Year-Round

By Home Furnishings Business in High Point on May 12, 2010 Vendor Christopher Guy has decided to keep its High Point showroom open year-round with a manager to assist customers all the time.

The showroom will offer training sessions and product seminars to retailers and hotel specifiers in the High Point area.

By staying open, the showroom will also become a more active part of the High Point Showroom Association and assist the High Point Market in becoming a sought after destination of furniture markets. The display area in the showroom will be used as an extension of the gallery currently in place at Furnitureland South in Jamestown, N.C. It will also give  the sales associates access to more product than what they presently have in the store.

Jon Spurlock has been named director of the Christopher Guy showroom. With more than 28 years of design experience, Spurlock has eight years of home furnishings experience with Christopher Guy. He is an active member of ASID and was formerly the Showhouse Chair of the North and South Carolina Chapter of ASID. Spurlock€™s design experience includes work with Glen Arbor, Ziba Interiors, John-Richard and Alden Parke.

The Christopher Guy High Point showroom is located at 418 South Wrenn in High Point. The showroom will be open Tuesday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday and Friday by appointment only and will be closed on the weekends.
