HW Home Named WHFA Retailer of the Year

Boulder, Colo.-based HW Home took
home the Western Home Furnishings Association's Retailer of the Year award at the organization's annual meeting last week at
the Grand Californian Resort and Spa.HW Home owners Jim Hering and Ron Werner accepted the award.
Were incredibly humbled and elated to be named Retailer of the Year. We are very honored and thrilled to be the recipient of this prestigious award, said Hering and Werner.
Mitchell Gold, chairman of
Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams, presented the award to Hering and Werner. Gold reflected on the first time he met Hering and Werner at the High Point Market before HW Home was open and the 12-year relationship his company has had with the retailer.
Hering and Werner opened HW Home in 1999 after taking a trip to help Werner's sister design the interior of her new home. While there, they saw an opportunity to bring fashion-forward designs and styles to the area.
Today, HW Home has four stores and a thriving e-commerce business with about 40 employees.
