By Home Furnishings Business in Furniture Retailing on April 20, 2010

Furniture, accent and accessory vendor has named 10 winners for its "Show Your Stuff" retail display contest.

The contest generated a total of more than 750 fans casting almost 7,000 ballots to recognize the most outstanding retail displays across the United States and to support the favorite charities of the winning dealers.

Grand Prize winner CasaBella Interiors, Brandon, Miss., will receive $5,000 in GuildMaster product; $1,000 for its charity, Community Animal Rescue and Adoption; and 500 trees planted in the retailer's honor. The other nine winners will receive $1,000 for their charity, $1,000 in GuildMaster product, and 500 trees to be planted in their honor.

"We are blessed to have such a highly engaged and passionate group of people working with us," said Steve Crowder, GuildMaster CEO. "All of the displays showed an outstanding level of ingenuity and truly showed off the beauty and range of the GuildMaster product. We would like to say a big 'thank you' to all who participated and voted."

GuildMaster retailers posted photos of their best displays on the GuildMaster on Tour Facebook site from Feb. 22 through Mar. 19. Fans then voted for their favorite displays through Mar. 31.

The Top 10 displays in order are: CasaBella Interiors; Domain XCIV, Fort Worth, Texas; Cottage & Vine, Columbia, S.C.; Home and Garden, Covington, La.; First Fruit Collection, Collierville, Tenn.; Room 22, Oklahoma City; The Home Accessory Company, San Antonio, Texas; Inspire (an element of Karen L. Benson Interior Design), Fort Myers, Fla.; Furnitureland South, Jamestown, N.C.; Wild Hare; Southern Pines, N.C.

"After seeing the energy and enthusiasm the retailers put into these creative displays we can't wait to see what happens next," Crowder said. "We have many more fun and creative ideas in store for the next GuildMaster on Tour."
