Nice Link Home Furnishings Debuts Collections and Designs at HPMKT

Quietly and strategically over the past year, Nice Link Home Furnishings has more than doubled its upholstery production in Vietnam and added a cut-and-sew factory there that company leaders say make it an increasingly compelling value for its leather and fabric upholstery manufacturing customers.

Nice Link ramped up its 200,000-square-foot factory in Ho Chi Minh City with 10 lines of upholstery production and completed a 10,000-square-foot showroom. The Vietnam factory will contribute 23 new collections in leather and fabric trending designs to this spring High Point Market.

Since the company began production there last year, a top priority has been to duplicate the high-end styles and quality craftsmanship that the industry has come to expect from Nice Link’s China operations, and company officials say it’s been successful.

A key advantage for the Ho Chi Minh factory is the close partnership with its vertically integrated China operation that includes a fabric mill, cut-and-sew fabric and leather operation, and in-house team of international designers. This year, that unique position has been further bolstered by Nice Link’s addition of a cut-and-sew factory in Da Nang in central Vietnam.

The 150,000-square-foot building houses 200 sewing machines and 180 sewers representing a combined Chinese and Vietnamese workforce able to produce the same expertly tailored, quality covers as the China operation.

“The dual strategy executed across our well-established China operation and burgeoning Vietnam business communicates to our current and prospective customers that we are committed to finding solutions and paths to mutual growth through the challenges of tariffs, supply chain, and whatever comes our way,” said Jay Carlson, Nice Link president.

At the upcoming High Point Market, Nice Link will also showcase a number of new and top selling upholstery groups from the China factory representing tariff-free and high-end motion and stationary products. For the first time, the company will offer occasional tables, featuring 15 curated collections with the new Vietnam-made upholstery groups.

Last but not least, Nice Link has again expanded its impressive High Point showroom, now occupying the entire 10th floor of Market Square Tower. Visitors will marvel at the breath-taking 360-degree views of High Point Market and beyond while enjoying meticulously designed vignettes across 16,000 square feet filled with natural light flooding through the floor to ceiling windows. Nice Link is offering extended showroom dates of April 9-17 for High Point Market.
