FilzFelt Collaborates with Designer Mia Cullin for Current and Tide
FilzFelt, leader in sustainable acoustic products that feature 100% Wool Design Felt, is collaborating with Swedish designer Mia Cullin for a new collection of tiles and panels, Current and Tide.
Combining high-performing materials and craftsmanship to create architectural products that are both highly customizable and sustainable, FilzFelt uses the natural fiber wool, harvested from sheep. This fabric translates into durability, excellent dyeability, resistance to flame and compression, and thermal and sound insulation.
Inspired by the rolling movements of the ocean, Current and Tide are two versatile acoustic felt panels. Swedish designer Mia Cullin brings the outdoors in with these visually striking panels that showcase her distinct approach to playing with light and shadow in design.
Suspended from above or hung to divide space with playful pops of color and curves, Current and Tide are lightweight and easy to hang. Pairing the softness of 100% Wool Design Felt with acoustic performance, the panels are made from biodegradable and recyclable materials and are available in over ninety colors.
Current is a suspended panel that ripples across the ceiling in soothing waves of pure wool felt. Play with color and arrangement to unify or define a space and to bring visual interest overhead.
Tide is a hanging space divider with subtle curves drawn from nature and brought to life with modern technology. Inspired by the water, Tide playfully divides space, and can hang in continuous rows or linked as a modular system that divides space horizontally and vertically.
