AHFA Finance Meeting Firms Up Agenda

By Home Furnishings Business in on May 2007 The American Home Furnishings Alliance Finance Divsion has finalized the agenda for its annual meeting, set for June 14-16 at the Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort in South Carolina.

The meeting€™s theme is €œFinance Meeting Integrates Economic, Supply Chain and Information Technology Issues.€   

After a 6-7 p.m. cocktail reception June 14, the general session begins the following day at 8 a.m.

Dr. Albert Keidel of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace will open the program with a presentation titled €œChina€™s Economic and Financial Prospects: Growth, Reform and Foreign Commercial Implications.€

The agenda includes a change of speakers Saturday, when Jeremy Leonard, an economic consultant with Manufacturers Alliance/MAPI Inc. will present €œThe Manufacturing Cost Crisis: Indentifying and Addressing the Obstacles to U. S. Competitiveness.€

The cutoff for registration is Tuesday, May 15, 2007.
