Napa Home & Garden Teams with Barclay Butera

Lifestyle resource Napa Home & Garden is collaborating with designer and author Barclay Butera to enhance Napa’s California-inspired brand with a nod to Butera’s signature coastal-chic interiors style.

The company said the collection will play well with traditional, transitional and contemporary settings.

“Having been a loyal customer of ours for many years, there have been occasions where Barclay’s needs couldn’t be met,” said KC Cunningham, president and creative director, Napa Home & Garden. “That’s when it hit us; he should design them,” she said. “This partnership was the next step in a natural progression for us.”

Butera has become known for his glamorous yet comfortable approach to living. His design sense and signature style have positioned him at the forefront of the interior design world, and led him to joint ventures with some of the industry’s most respected partners.

“What I offer is an upscale, all-American aesthetic with a subtle coastal twist that brings a distinctive look to Napa. I’m thrilled to collaborate with KC on this stunning collection of chic accouterments for the home and also thrilled they happen to pair perfectly with my Newport Collection furniture collection with Lexington Home Brands that we just launched,” said Butera.

The collection will officially launch at next month’s Atlanta Gift & Home Furnishings Market with a party and book signing on Friday, Jan. 12 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Napa Home & Garden flagship showroom at AmericasMart.

Butera will be there to greet buyers and sign copies of his book ‘Barclay Butera Past Present Inspired’, which will be given to the first 100 buyers whose orders include Barclay items.

The company said January will be their most ambitious in terms of market intros, and this new relationship with Butera is indicative of this period of expansion for Napa.  In the past year, Napa has also broadened its offerings with new candle and scarf lines.

“Our collaboration with Barclay is another sign of our continued growth,” said Napa CEO Jerry Cunningham. “Napa’s home décor buyers will now be able to offer Barclay’s unmistakable sophistication and style to their customers.”
