Therapedic to Create Tommy Bahama Beds

Mattress supplier Therapedic International has signed licensing agreement with lifestyle brand Tommy Bahama to create a bedding collection.

The Tommy Bahama line will be introduced in January at the Las Vegas Market.

With a diverse offering of home furnishings products, including indoor and outdoor furniture, rugs, and tabletop, the partnership marks Tommy Bahama’s first venture into the mattress industry.

Both Therapedic and Tommy Bahama inspire relaxation and have a shared goal of promoting a lifestyle that emphasizes comfort, rest and relaxation in the home.

“Tommy Bahama is known for bringing a relaxed, island-inspired lifestyle to homes around the world," said Bradley O'Brien, executive vice president of design and product development for Tommy Bahama. "We are proud to partner with a prestigious brand like Therapedic that has long been recognized as a leader in the sleep products category. They share our vision and commitment to using innovative and high quality materials and creating mattresses that make the bedroom a sanctuary for rest and relaxation.”

Gerry Borreggine, president and CEO of Therapedic, said the mattress collection will be designed to enhance sleep and offer relaxation.

“We are extremely excited to partner with Tommy Bahama, an amazing home furnishings brand that defines relaxed, sophisticated style. Their product designs speak to the same well-educated consumers that we do,” Borreggine said. “This collaboration is one of the largest licensing deals the sleep products industry has seen. We are working hard to develop an elegantly constructed product made with high quality materials that will transform the bedroom into a true island inspired retreat."
