Henning Rejoins King Koil as EVP

Chris HenningBedding industry veteran Chris Henning has rejoined King Koil in the new position of executive vice president of sales and marketing.

Henning, who left Willowbrook, Ill.-based King Koil in 2012 to take a newly created post as president of North America for the Dormeo Octaspring brand, had been with King Koil since 2010 as senior vice president of strategic planning and business development.

In assuming his new responsibilities, he reports to President and COO Dave Roberts, who said he was very pleased that Henning, with his extensive industry experience, has returned to the company.

“Chris has a proven industry record as a highly effective leader, having held executive positions at Kingsdown, Tempur-pedic and Simmons,” Roberts noted. “Given our ambitious growth plans for the next five years, I’m very confident of the important role Chris will play not only in leading our sales and marketing drives but in helping the King Koil organization attain its objectives.”

Henning, who will attend the upcoming Las Vegas Market--King Koil's showroom is World Market Center-A546)--said he will eventually relocate to the Chicago area from Plano, Texas.

A global bedding producer, King Koil is among the country’s Top 10 manufacturers and maintains an international licensing group that serves 80 countries.
